Thanks,

It is planned but I haven't been able to find any example files. If you have some please e-mail them to me...

Right now DNG should open, but maybe not in full resolution.

Thanks.  I don't have any at the moment, but have a camera coming that will record either DNG or PEF (Pentax raw).  Is the latter supported?

Yes that RAW format is supported. When you get some DNG files please send them for testing, thanks Smiley

Great.  I will send some DNG when I get them, probably after the turn of the year.

Just tried opening a PEF on the Zeta version of beta 2, but pixel says there is no filter for this file type.

No such file in /boot/home (used ls -a).  The build was the latest on the website - I downloaded it yesterday.  Would you like me to send you the PEF file?  Let me know what email to send to.

Ok e-mail it to kanzels at gmail dot com, thanks. But I guess this is not a problem with your file. Pixel is probably unable to locate dcraw binary maybe. Please check if it's on path, if not, download it from BeBits.

Looks like it's a dcraw limitation:

$ dcraw IMGP1360.PEF
IMGP1360.PEF: PENTAX K100D is not yet supported.

Life is good.  I just compiled the latest version of dcraw and it works fine from the command line.  Now just to figure out how to get it on the PATH pixel uses.

Pixel will check PATH env. variable, try to see it by issueing this command:

$ set | grep PATH

Then place dcraw in one of those directories, or modify PATH variable by adding PATH of dcraw Smiley

I know I have it on the path (/boot/beos/bin).  It's v8.41.  But when I try to directly import the PEF file, pixel says there's no translator.  I can still run it through dcraw directly and open the resulting file, so it's only a minor inconvenience.
