One Computer looks up with Beta7

Have on my home computer (XP SP2) the problem, that during using Pixel Beta7 the computer is complete looking up after some actions. Load a picture and do something (zoom or click on a menu point), abrupt the program and the complete windows is looking up.
No Ctrl-Alt-Del helps, I must press the coldboot button.
On my laptop (also XP SP2) it works fine.
I have deactivated some ELiquid settings (eg. smooth windows), but nothing helps.
Has anyone an idea, what I can do, other programs like video editing software, Open Office and so on are working fine.
